	EXHIBITION AT GASSCOM INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE The Ghana Association of Software and IT Services Companies (GASSCOM), the main IT industry Association in Ghana, with sponsorship from the world Bank, under the Auspices of the Ministry of Communication and through the ITES Secretariat (an agency created under the Ministry to promote
IT enabled services in Ghana)organized the 1st GASSCOM International BPO conference And Exhibition. The conference was held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana on 22nd and 23rd July 2009 under the theme “Outsourcing to Ghana, Africa’s Golden Gateway”. The main objective for this conference and exhibition was to showcase Ghana’s competitive advantage in increasing employment and income generation in the ICT/ITES sector on a competitive platform with the active participation of both local and international partners in the private sector. It was also aimed at promoting Ghana as one of the premier BPO destination in Africa. Real-IT Solutions Ltd was among the participants at the exhibition.
The company showcased the various educational software and digital curriculum material developed for Ghanaian schools. The company had opportunity to demonstrate to participants including the minister of communication Haruna Iddrisu on ICT can help enhance education in the country using our products. Other companies that participated in the exhibition included SOFTtribe, Ostec, Advance Computor Services (ACS), Tino Solution, iBit, Step technology and many more.
